An electrifying night of sound and style, the Saadiyat Big Band Jazz music with Blue Fever a cappella ensemble and Rock Fever brings together the elegance of classic swing with the raw energy of rock-infused jazz fusion.
The evening opens with the rich, sophisticated tones of the powerhouse Blue Fever turning up the festival vibes with iconic, feel-good, popular hits – zero instruments; one stage; no limits!
This is followed by the musically diametrically opposed full-bodied brass and rhythm section of Saadiyat Big Band, delivering timeless big band arrangements, smooth improvisations, and soulful melodies inspired by the golden age of jazz. Expect powerful saxophone harmonies, dazzling trumpet solos, walking bass lines, and irresistible
swing rhythms that fill the room with vintage glamour.
As the night builds, Rock Fever takes the stage, transforming the atmosphere with explosive guitar riffs and driving percussion. Not your average cover band!

Blue Fever thoroughly enjoyed our vocal workshop in November with Mr. Wayne-Wright who sang with the Grammy-winning a cappella vocal ensemble "the King Singers" for 10 years!Musician & Composer Oscar Williams and "the Band of Life", took time away from their Abu Dhabi concert tour to coach us in developing techniques in creating intricate harmony lines! |

Blue Fever took home first prize on March 22 from the Middle East Choirfest 2014 Competition. This group performs around the capital and occasionally in Dubai. This win in 2014 was followed by a fabulous year that included singing in the Yas island concert with Andrea Boccelli as well as winning the runner up prize in March 2013 Choir of the Year Contest in which the coaches and judges were no other than the famous “Swingle Singers”!!
